Seeing such beautiful twinkling lights, made the boy giggle with delight. As a shooting star raced across the sky, the sweet little boy heaved a big sigh. What a fun filled day I had watching the skies, but now its nightime and I must say goodbye.

I love clouds and have always wanted to write a story about them. In this picture book idea, a young boy is laying on his back. The only thing that changes are the clouds and they resemble animals, baked goods and even a county fair. When it turns dark he is sad for a moment, then sees the stars. A whole new story begins.

This story was inspired becuase I participated in the Camp Pendleton Mud Run. Wish I could have fallen in the mud and down to the center of the earth. It was brutal.

This story was inspired due to my own screen going black. I was distraught over what to do since so much of my life is spent on the computer. The song on my ipod was SAY by John Mayer (one of my favorites) Hence the whole idea of the storyexperiment to use a John Mayer title in the story.
It was disappointing that nobody else participated in this @storyexperiment and some even said they couldn't wait until it was over becuase they didn't care for John Mayer.
However this is my favorite story to date. Not only do I believe John Mayer is a truly creative genius and artist, this story made me realize that technology is becoming a problem in our society. And we all need to hope our screens go black once in awhile so we can go out and find the heart of life. For it can NOT be found in a computer, a tv, or a mobile phone, it can only be found in the things GOD created for us and that is people and our beautiful planet. I am interested to hear your comments on this story. Please share.

Sometimes I am sorry for starting the storyexperiment. It is hard enough to write an original story but these stories only last Monday through Friday.
Maybe I can become a sitcom writer after this experiment.

Three things make it worth it
1. Getting new followers! and even better a follower who adds a comment to the story.
2.Following trending topics - I am staying tuned to the new my way. Much more refreshing.
3. Reading the stories to my kids. Asking how it can be better, what should happen next? And every week I have a new bedtime story as we discuss the trending topics for the week. A great way to share the news.

When squirrels and birds were here best friends
She was three then with no worries in the world. But in 10 years everything has changed.
