This week, let's write a children's story inspired by clouds. The title is, CLOUD GAZING. http://pic.gd/92490a First words are...
11:30 AM Nov 2nd from TweetDeck
Laying on my back, gazing at the clouds, an effigy appears, covered in a shroud 3:08 PM Nov 2nd from TweetDeckIt was a polar bear running scared, from a bunch of bats, visually impaired. 2:10 PM Nov 3rd from TwitterBerryThe bats collided with a big tall oak, then evaporated into a puff of smoke. 2:27 PM Nov 3rd from TwitterBerrySmoke spread across the length of the sky, like the billowy top of a coconut cream pie3:11 PM Nov 3rd from TwitterBerryOut of the pie, jumped 10 or so frogs, Who were chased away by big fluffy dogs. 5:26 PM Nov 4th from TwitterBerryThe dogs moved quickly up in the air, cavorting and frollicking without a care.
5:33 PM Nov 4th from TwitterBerryThen dark leopards gathered round, making loud, ominous, growling sounds. 9:45 AM Nov 5th from TwitterBerryIt turned gray and gloomy all around, no signs of blue could be found.9:46 AM Nov 5th from TwitterBerryLike a wet blanket, it started to drip, so I opened my mouth to get a few sips.10:02 AM Nov 5th from TwitterBerryRadiant light found an open space, then an arch of pastel colors filled the skies with power and grace. (via @lisahanockjasie)11:39 AM Nov 6th from webThe rainbow resembled the county fair slide, what fun it would be to go for a ride!11:47 AM Nov 6th from web

I could ride the elephants and the ponies too, or on top of the ferris wheel, with its spectacular views. 12:04 PM Nov 6th from webAn artist appeared and started to paint, using colors and textures without any restraint. 12:10 PM Nov 6th from webPurples, yellows, oranges and reds, layered atop the canvas like a quilt on a bed12:31 PM Nov 6th from webDarkness wiped the canvas clear. The cloud show came to a close. All the stars who were watching from above, twinkled, as they arose.

I love clouds and have always wanted to write a story about them. In this picture book idea, a young boy is laying on his back. The only thing that changes are the clouds and they resemble animals, baked goods and even a county fair. When it turns dark he is sad for a moment, then sees the stars. A whole new story begins.
Seeing such beautiful twinkling lights, made the boy giggle with delight. As a shooting star raced across the sky, the sweet little boy heaved a big sigh. What a fun filled day I had watching the skies, but now its nightime and I must say goodbye.
