The Twitter Rules for the Storytime Experiment

On Monday at 10:00am (California time) 3 words will begin THE STORYTIME EXPERIMENT on Twitter. (@storyexperiment)

1. Followers can reply to the most recent tweet or RT by adding a word, sentence, or dialogue to further the story.

2. You can tweet more than once, just not subsequently.  If no one is adding to the story, @storyexperiment is the only one who can add subsequent tweets up to 5 per day.

3. Read all the tweets (the whole story) before commenting.

4. Your tweet could be edited to "fit" the story.  Do not add foul language or inappropriate scenes to the story.  These tweets might not be used.

5. Sometimes tweets are added simultaneously. In this case, only one tweet can be used.  We will notify you to please post again if this happens to you for it is nothing personal.

6. Pay attention to trending topics.  Should a trending topic apply to your tweet, please use it with the appropriate #hashtag

7. Please give us 12 hours to RT your tweet.

9. Please be patient and open-minded =)

10. Story will end Friday at 5pm.

This is the first storytime experiment on Twitter.  We are positive, some glitches will arise becuase this is life and technology working together.  But let's have fun and see where this journey will take us.  Thank you for participating.
